I was reading one of my fav blogs, Design*Sponge today and I came across a cute photo of a rather unusual stove/oven. They are very rare to come across but I had one almost like it when I lived in St. Louis. Granted it didn’t look as cute, but it was rather a unique and special feature of my not-so-special first apartment.

We had one just like this in my parents old house! I adored that stove/oven…it had been put in when the house was built and still worked perfectly. Sadly, we had a fire in the house right in the kitchen so it is no more…I would love to find one of these again!
Before I saw your caption, I was thinking, Is that the oven from your apt in St. Louis? Wait, I think that one was yellow… Then I read your comment.
